Honeymoon Suite's Music in Movies and tv

Movies and television bring the magic of make believe, angst, and hard core kick ass action and humor right before our very eyes, but  without the music to express those feelings the scenes would be pretty boring in my opinion

For those who are not aware Honeymoon Suite's music has appeared in 9 movies and television shows in total.

In 1986 HMS performed the song Those were the days which appeared on the Wraith Soundtrack for that film which stars Charlie Sheen.  The song was written by Ray Coburn (  former Keyboard Player for HMS ).

Miami Vice which was a hot show in the 80's featured three Honeymoon Suite Songs on their show New  Girl Now, Bad Attitude and Feel it Again. Absolutely brilliant choices for the show and it made the final episode pop like no body's business.

The feature film One Crazy Summer also featured the band's song What does it take from the bands Big Prize album. The track appeared in a scene where there was an explosion.

In March 1987 the Lethal Weapon Franchise started off with a bang, and quickly became one of my personal favourites through out the years. Honeymoon Suite was chosen to perform the title track Lethal Weapon for the film which was written by Michael Kamen

Its a track that screams out every emotion felt in the scenes and is a song that is requested to be played when the band does shows.

New Girl Now was also featured on the show Bones in 2006 in the episode " Woman In Limbo"
and in the movie Gutter balls.

The movie The Behaviour Of Houses was released in 2007 and it featured the bands track Into Me Into you  from their 5th Studio Album Lemon Tongue .

And finally in 2010 New Girl now was also featured in the Kids in the Hall Mini Series when Death Came To Town in the first episode called  The Stages Of Grief

Also in 2010 Honeymoon Suite's song Wounded another track from the Big Prize Album was featured in the TV Show The Good Guys.

In the set up of the scene so people get a visual Detective Jack Bales is held at gun point and his  partner comes in to rescue him and that's when HMS' song Wounded cranks into high gear.

Wounded  was written by Lead singer Johnnie Dee and has always been one of my favourite songs to listen to.

And there you have it folks , a little bit of movie magic and kick ass tunes performed by Canada's own Honeymoon Suite makes for some pretty good listening pleasure
