Honeymoon Suite - Hands UP Review

Everybody get your hands up for Honeymoon Suite's long awaited 7th studio album called you guessed it Hands up.

The EP was produced by lead singer Johnnie Dee and lead guitarist Derry Grehan with the tracks also being co- written by Johnnie Dee, Derry Grehan and Sean Kelly.

Each of the 7 new tracks are like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow standing out on their own, but the one track that stands out the most in my mind without a doubt is Market Square.

Leah Marlene Derry's  daughter is a guest vocalist on the track and I have to say that her voice  along with Johnnie's blend beautifully together during the song.

Another  personal fave I have to say is the title track Hands up which gives you a glimpse of what its like to walk in someone else's shoes and it made me tear up.

The other tracks included on the EP are  Like The Stars, Never Was A Forever, 1986, Hey Deanna, One Step Closer and live versions of New Girl Now and  Burning In Love

Over all this album is amazing with Johnnie's strong and haunting vocals, the wicked guitar riffs courteousy of Derry , Johnnie and Gary Lalonde, coupled with the awesome drum beats and keyboard played by Dave Betts and  Peter Nunn respectfully makes any HMS fan not only get their hands up but they will want to crank the album full throttle.

In my opinion its one of their best albums to date and I for one am glad we as fans are on this crazy ride along with them.
